Blue Ribbon Cooking was thrilled to host Rover’s holiday party at the enchanting Emerald City Trapeze Arts, creating an evening filled with fun, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. Guests were welcomed with a feast for the senses, starting with delicious appetizers, including a whimsical suspended charcuterie board that added a touch of magic to the festivities. The night buzzed with excitement as attendees enjoyed carnival games and a lively photo booth, where playful props and a vibrant backdrop captured the joy and energy of the celebration. The entertainment highlights of the evening were the aerial ambiance and an awe-inspiring Flying Trapeze show. Skilled performers soared through the air with breathtaking precision, dazzling the crowd with daring feats and graceful artistry. The show brought the spirit of adventure to life, leaving guests in awe and inspired by the magic of the moment.

The evening included a selection of artfully crafted hors d'oeuvres, including Grilled Bruschetta with Port-Infused Goat Cheese, Fresh Figs, and Ribbons of Basil, Thai Grilled Chicken Skewers glazed with a Honey Coconut sauce, and Bulgogi Beef Lettuce Wraps, featuring tender beef, house-pickled vegetables, and a zesty Gochujang Aioli.

The buffet dinner celebrated the best of seasonal and local flavors. The Washington Harvest Salad, a medley of local apples, maple-roasted squash, pickled red onions, and spiced pepitas, offered a fresh start. Entrées included Boneless Braised Beef Short Rib with Marchand de Vin and Rosemary Butter-Brushed Salmon with White Balsamic Cherry Chutney. Vegetarian and vegan options included Penne Pasta with Red Wine-Infused Cauliflower Bolognese and Polenta Cakes with Fontina Cheese and Fresh Corn. Sides featured Roasted Garlic Buttery Mashed Potatoes, a Pike Place Market Style Grilled Vegetable Platter with Fleur de Sel, and Artisan Breads served with Herb-Infused Olive Oil and Aged Balsamic Vinegar.

For a comforting late-night bite, guests savored Creamy Chipotle Tomato Bisque Shooters paired with Bite-Size Grilled Cheese. Loaded Potato Bites topped with BBQ Pulled Pork and Deconstructed Slaw (GF) were a crowd favorite, alongside Dick’s Special Inspired Smash Burgers, featuring a single patty cooked to perfection. From start to finish, the event was a celebration of connection, creativity, and holiday cheer, making it an extraordinary night at Emerald City Trapeze Arts that will be remembered for years to come!
