We couldn’t be more thrilled for Summer and Ruthanne! These two amazing souls celebrated their love at the breathtaking Sanders Estate, a venue that perfectly blends elegance with natural beauty. Nestled in Kent, this historic estate features lush gardens, tranquil ponds, and majestic trees, providing a stunning backdrop for their outdoor wedding. Just 35 minutes from downtown Seattle, Sanders Estate offers the ideal combination of serene seclusion and city convenience, making it a top choice for couples who want to create unforgettable memories surrounded by nature’s splendor.
Guests at Summer and Ruth’s wedding were treated to an exquisite buffet dinner that perfectly complemented the elegant surroundings of Sanders Estate. The meal began with a refreshing Blackberry & Champagne Salad featuring delicate greens, crumbled local chèvre, and vanilla-chipotle spiced pecans. For the main course, guests enjoyed Thyme & Black Pepper Crusted Chicken topped with savory peach chutney and Grilled Flat Iron Steak with Blue Ribbon’s signature brandied fig sauce, prepared to a perfect medium rare. Sides included a flavorful Roasted New Potato Salad with watercress, scallions, and a vinaigrette with Gorgonzola on the side, as well as a decadent Truffle Macaroni & Cheese with brown butter panko crusting. The meal was rounded out with a Pike Place Market Style Grilled Vegetable Platter, seasoned with Fleur de Sel, and served alongside artisan breads with herb-infused olive oil and aged balsamic vinegar. It was a feast as memorable as the occasion itself.
